This has set me on a path to try to learn, share and inspire all things gardening with the people in my life. I loved books that my imagination placed me within the setting. And the other two had no idea what they were for. I would spread my arms wide and soar over mountains,, forests and valleys. Always on an adventureoutside which resonated deeply. I loved all books when I was a kid, but one stood out and I found myself going back to it throughout my life. Hands down my favorite books as a childand reread as an adult were the Anne of Green Gables series. They used things from a dump to furnish it. I feel like her journey parallels my own in so many ways; motherhood, farming, homeschooling, growing as a violinist. Even if children shout out before you say the second possible pair ( in this case poodles/bread), still tell them, adding something like, I just want to make sure, and the best way is to say the words and listen..
